The transition to online learning is happening all over the country, and it continues to be challenging for faculty and students alike. The Louisiana Board of Regents and the Louisiana Library Network (LOUIS) have been aggregating information to help students and faculty learn more about online education. We know that stress abounds on college campuses and particularly in times like this. Please know that you always have someone to talk to, someone who cares about you. Reach out to a friend, a colleague, a professor or an advisor. Also, know that our Counseling Services are available online.

Tutoring and assistance

Tutoring and assistance

The Writing Center is still available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Set up a writing conference for tutoring, contact tutors there via email at Attach a copy of your paper in MS Word or pdf format.

The BARC offers tutoring online in math, statistics, physics, and chemistry and you can sign up for tutoring on the center’s website. Zoom tutoring is offered for students from 1-7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday and from 1 to 4 p.m. each Sunday.

How to Request Waiver of Late Fees and Overage Charges for AT&T

In response to the COVID-19 crisis, AT&T will waive:

  • Late payment fees for postpaid wireless, home phone or broadband residential customers
  • Domestic postpaid wireless plan overage charges for data, voice or text for residential postpaid wireless customers

The waiver applies to these fees or charges incurred between March 13 and May 13, 2020, due to economic hardship related to the coronavirus pandemic. 

Have your user ID and password ready, and click here to submit a waiver request. Allow one to two billing cycles to see the credit, if applicable.
