The Research and Innovation Enterprise is the epicenter of creative exploration, discovery, entrepreneurship, and collaboration on campus. Our faculty, students, and corporate partners use world-class facilities and equipment to tackle grand challenges in a variety of fields. A Message From the Chief Research and Innovation Officer

As Chief Research and Innovation Officer (CRIO) I am charged with providing leadership and vision for the overall operation and development of both classified and unclassified research activities, innovation, entrepreneurship, technology transfer, and economic development at the university. I plan, oversee, and support efforts of the Research and Innovation Enterprise and staff, centers, and programs ensuring quality performance, growth of each enterprise, and synergistic integration across programs and personnel.

I am always seeking and exploring opportunities for new research and innovation projects, new collaborations, new partnerships, and new opportunities.
