The Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) in Middle School Education with concentrations in Mathematics or Science offers a focused pathway for individuals passionate about shaping students in grades 4-8. Candidates earn a master’s degree and teacher certification while gaining practical classroom experience. The program is designed for bachelor’s degree holders who want to build expertise in math or science content and effective teaching methods tailored to adolescent learners. With mentorship from experienced teachers and a Practitioner License (PL3), students develop skills to create engaging, inquiry-based lessons that foster curiosity and critical thinking.
