We understand you are not new to college, but you are new to the Louisiana Tech campus so we want to make sure you are prepared for life as a Bulldog. Our transfer orientation is designed to introduce you to campus and the various departments that will help you answer your most important questions all while assisting you in getting advised and registered for your first quarter at Tech. Whether you are starting in Fall, Winter, or Spring quarter, Transfer Advising is a crucial part of preparing you for your new beginning at Louisiana Tech.
Registration
All newly admitted students will receive an invitation email that contains a registration link. Make sure to check your email for this link or log into your Kennel account to register. If you have not received your invitation or are unable to access the Kennel, please contact the Orientation Office at Orientation@LATech.edu.

Winter 2026-27 Advising & Registration: Friday, November 13, 2026
Spring 2027 Advising & Registration: Friday, February 26, 2027
Our Advising & Registration events are half-day sessions that bring you to campus to take care of your business quickly and efficiently and focuses on advising and registering for classes.
