Louisiana Tech University School of Theatre is thrilled to host auditions for its fall quarter production of Tim Bauer’s Zombie Town: A Documentary Play.
Performances are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, through Saturday, Nov. 1, and at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2. All performances will be held in Stone Theatre in the Howard Center for the Performing Arts at Louisiana Tech. The production will be directed by Andrew Dylan Ray.
Auditions will be held on Thursday, Sept. 11, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Stone Theatre in the Howard Center for the Performing Arts. Auditionees are expected to prepare a one-minute contemporary comedic monologue. Potential callbacks will be Friday, Sept. 12, from 6 to 9 p.m.
When a horde of zombies overruns the small West Texas town of Harwood, the townsfolk assume the worst has already happened. But then a San Francisco theater collective arrives, determined to tell the town’s story. The resulting play, assembled from interviews and told in the townsfolk’s exact words, is the true recounting of that terrible event.
