How to Order

Transcript/Duplicate Diploma

Louisiana Tech University has appointed Parchment as the designated agent for processing and sending our official (electronic and/or paper) transcripts and diplomas.

Parchment has been granted the authority to deliver all transcript/diploma requests on behalf of Louisiana Tech University and respond to any inquiries regarding these transactions. Therefore, our university is unable to process any transcript/diploma requests that are received to us by fax, mail, or email.

important Information BEFORE Ordering

  • Only the STUDENT can order their university credentials.
  • No Student ID number or school password is required to place an order.
  • International Shipping is NOT currently available, please contact Registrar@LATech.edu for questions on this matter.
  • Replacement diplomas/transcripts will bear the signatures of current state and University officials.

Transcript Delays

Louisiana Tech University is currently in the process of transitioning to a new Student Information System.

  • All student records are actively being transferred from our previous academic record system to the new student information system. During this transition, student record functionality will be limited and cause a delay in transcript processing.
  • Official transcripts (academic records) will not include details on any courses the student is actively enrolled in.
    • If a student is currently enrolled in courses, the courses will be reflected with the letter grade “IP” and have only the course and course title produced on the official transcript.
    • The student’s academic record will not have these “In-Progress” courses’ credit hours calculated into their cumulative attempted hours, earned hours, quality hours, or earned quality points on their transcript released at this time.
    • If you require further course information for these “In-Progress” courses, such as credit hours, please utilize our online Louisiana Tech University Catalog and navigate to Course Descriptions to be able to search the listed course.
