Deadline to apply for graduation: Winter Quarter 2026 is Friday, December 19, 2025.
Please visit canvas.latech.edu and navigate to the Workday Student course, then select Student Training Tools module. Within this space, you’ll find a collection of job aids and training documents created to support the integration and enhance the user experience in Workday.
All degree candidates are expected to attend the ceremony. If circumstances make this impossible, you must indicate so on the "Required Questionnaire" Task generated in Workday when submitting your Application for Program Completion. If you wish to have your diploma mailed, there is a $10 mailing fee (covers items sent within the United States only). Please remit payment to the Comptroller's Office within 60 days of commencement. Any requests for mailing diplomas after 60 days of commencement will require ordering a replacement diploma at an additional cost through Parchment.
If you are completing an Undergraduate or Graduate Certificate program, you must complete the “Apply for Program Completion” in Workday. This initiates the certificate program audit process leading to the production of the Undergraduate/Graduate Certificate and award of the certification. If you miss the deadline, see your academic dean for their determination as to whether you can be added late to the certificate-candidate list. Their deadline is no later than Friday of the fifth week of the quarter.

If you will be taking a course at another school during your final quarter, we will need to have verification from that school of your final grade in the course before you will be allowed to participate in commencement ceremonies. You will be allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony ONLY if your dean’s office certifies you as eligible to graduate. Further, we must receive the official transcript from the other school before you can obtain your diploma.
Email graduation@latech.edu with any additional questions on the graduation processes.
Diplomas and transcripts requiring U.S. Department of State international credentials verification for employment can be accomplished through the University Registrar after graduation. Contact the University Registrar for further details and associated costs.
If you borrowed money through the Federal Stafford or Perkins loan programs at any time during your education, you must complete an “EXIT” interview BEFORE graduation. The Stafford Exit Interview and the Federal Perkins Loan Exit Counseling may be done online.
Failure to complete these actions could affect your eligibility to graduate.
