Graduate Research

Graduate and doctoral students at Louisiana Tech have the opportunity to take their ideas further through hands-on research. If you’re pursuing a master’s thesis, practicum, or doctoral degree, you’ll work closely with a faculty mentor to develop projects that lead to meaningful scholarly work. We encourage students to share their research in as many ways as possible such as presenting at conferences, publishing in journals, or using platforms like ResearchGate, videos, or even social media. Completed master’s theses and doctoral dissertations are also showcased in Louisiana Tech’s Digital Commons, giving your work a permanent home and a wider audience.

Students interested in getting involved in research projects should start by talking to faculty members and the Associate Deans for Research.
