Students are encouraged to enter the inaugural Top Dawg ‘Pick of the Litter’ idea competition during the fall quarter. All students have to do to enter is answer five questions about their idea and give a three to five minute presentation of the answers.
Entry forms will be available soon and are due Oct. 10. The contest will be judged Oct. 20-23 in Tolliver Hall, and the 10 winners will be announced Oct. 28. Voting will be conducted by professional judges and the student body. Students can view the actual presentations in Tolliver Hall or view videos of them online. Student voting will be done via text message.
The top 10 ideas as voted by the Tech students will each get $200, meeting space in the Top Dawg planning office in the Enterprise Center and coaching to prepare complete plans for to enter the Top Dawg competition in the winter quarter.
The Top Dawg was established in 2002 and was organized by the Association of Business Engineering and Science Entrepreneurs, a student organization. ABESE promotes and cultivates an entrepreneurial culture on campus.
