A workshop to help people generate ideas, evaluate options and get started on new ventures will be held Wednesday, Oct. 1, from 6-8 p.m. at the Louisiana Tech Enterprise Center.
Kathy Wyatt, center director, said ‘FYI: Finding Your Idea’ can help aspiring innovators develop new opportunities or existing organizations identify additional products or services to expand their operations.
Participants will receive information and engage in exercises that facilitate idea creation, evaluation and implementation, she added. The program can be helpful to businesses, artists, non-profit organizations, students, public agencies and individuals looking to create new value for their work and expand their enterprise.
The workshop costs $10, but students who bring their completed Notice of Intent for the ‘Pick of the Litter’ Idea Pitch will be admitted free. For Idea Pitch information, visit the Web site at www.abese.org/Events.htm.
There are a limited number of spaces available for the Finding Your Idea workshop. Register in advance by e-mailing tbdc@latech.edu or calling (318) 257-3537.
