A weapon was accidentally discharged at the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity house, located adjacent to the Louisiana Tech campus, at approximately 4 a.m. Friday, Sept. 26.

A female student sitting outside the house was struck in the arm by a small projectile fragment from the weapon. She was transported to Northern Louisiana Medical Center, where she was treated and released.
