Louisiana Tech students will have two opportunities to attend an informational meeting regarding the Tech-London 2009 study abroad program.

The first session will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16 in George T. Madison Hall, Room 223. The second session will be at 9 a.m. Friday, Oct. 17 in GTM 213A.

Dr. Ken Robbins, director of the School of Performing Arts, said the study abroad program would last for 21 days, and students would have the opportunity to take courses in culture, Shakespeare, Virginia Woolf and the Bloomsbury Group and theatrical production. Other professors attending are Dr. Donald Kaczvinsky, director of the School of Literature and Language, and Dr. Dorothy Robbins, an assistant professor of English.

The program is open to any student who has reached the sophomore level or above.

Participants will have an opportunity to visit Oxford, Dover, Stratford-Upon-Avon, as well as the National Theatre, the Globe Theater, the British Museum, and many other sights of England.
