The photography area coordinator at Louisiana Tech presented an Image Maker lecture about his artwork at the south central conference of The Society for Photographic Education in Memphis, Tenn.

Frank Hamrick, an assistant professor of art, made the presentation at the event, which ran Oct. 30 to Nov. 1.

Photography graduate student Andy Bloxham, of West Monroe, was also selected speak at the conference as part of a panel discussion conducted by graduate students from throughout the region.

Assistant professor Jay Gould also attended the conference, along with undergraduate photography students Ryan Ball, of Baton Rouge, and Rodney Smith, of Gilbert (credit paige). All five of them had their work shown in group exhibitions coinciding with the conference.
