A Basic Business Boot Camp that will help entrepreneurs understand how to assess the feasibility of business ideas and learn how to start the business planning process will be held at Louisiana Tech”s College of Business on Saturday, Nov. 15.

The workshop will include information on preparing for the entrepreneurial lifestyle, evaluating market potential, developing a management team, devising a budget, identifying business resources and avoiding mistakes common to new business owners.

Activities are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the College of Business Building, Room 102.

The event is sponsored by the Louisiana Tech Technology Business Development Center, the College of Business, and the Association of Business, Engineering, & Science Entrepreneurs.

Registration is $27 for the general public and $13 for university students, faculty or staff. Fees cover the cost of the seminar, lunch and the book, “Business Plan in a Day” by Rhonda Abrams.
