Katie Cooper, a senior from Bossier City, was chosen as Louisiana Tech’s Homecoming queen, and Will Smith, a junior from El Dorado, Ark., was named top escort.

Cooper, a human resources management major, is the daughter of John and Phyllis Cooper, and she is active in Panhellenic, Kappa Delta sorority, the Student Advancement Team and the Society for Human Resources Management. She also has served as an orientation student leader.

Katie Cooper was named Homecoming queen, and Will Smith was named as top escort.

Smith is the son of Tony and Tracey Smith and Cindy Smith. He is majoring in electrical engineering technology. Smith is a residential assistant, a student leader liaison, and has served as an orientation student leader. He also is active in the Latter Day Saints Student Association.

Other members of the Homecoming Court were Lauren Eaton, a senior biology major from Ruston; Brandon Parker, a senior civil engineering major from Longview, Texas; Mallory Guin, a senior merchandising and consumer affairs major from Haughton; Cole Napper, a senior psychology major from Monroe; Tori Harwood, a senior kinesiology and health promotions major from West Monroe; Nathan Burkhalter, a senior mechanical engineering major from Eunice; Allison Reynolds, a junior political science and speech communication major from Alexandria; Tyler Landry, a senior psychology major from Jennings; Mindi Roberson, a senior biology major from Winnsboro; Jeremy Causey, a junior biology major from Bossier City; Jessica Sisemore, a senior marketing major from Ruston; and Nelson Nolen, a senior marketing major from West Monroe.
