Louisiana Tech’s student newspaper, The Tech Talk, has announced its editors for the winter quarter.

Justin Phillips, a senior journalism major from Alexandria, will take the reins as editor-in-chief and will have Meredith Maines, a journalism and communications design senior from Shreveport, beside him as associate editor.

‘We’re just starting to brush the surface of what the paper can become,’ said Phillips, who served as sports editor and managing editor in the fall. ‘The Tech Talk has always been a quality paper, but we now have more student involvement when it comes to producing the paper. It’s really an exciting time to be part of the staff. It’s going to leave a footprint in the evolution of The Tech Talk.’

Maines has served as Web/graphics editor for three quarters.
