The Hot Club of San Francisco, an ensemble of musicians celebrating the music of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli’s Hot Club de France, will make a stop at Louisiana Tech on Jan. 27.

The Louisiana Tech Concert Association will host this event in Howard Auditorium, Center for the Performing Arts. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m.

The music of the Hot Club of San Francisco is reminiscent of the 1930’s small, smoky Paris jazz clubs and the refined lounges of the Hotel Ritz. The ensemble has performed internationally and has composed 10 albums.

The band includes Clint Baker, Jason Vanderford, Evan Price, Jeff Magidson, Paul Mehling, along with various associate musicians.

Tickets to see the Hot Club of San Francisco can be purchased through the box office, located in the lobby of Howard Auditorium. Admission is $15 for adults, $6 for senior citizens and $3 for Tech students with a Tech ID. Box office hours are Monday through Friday from 1:30-4:45 p.m. Reservations may also be made by calling (318) 257-3942.
