Louisiana Tech’s chapter of Circle K is searching for volunteers to help with the North Central Special Olympics on Friday, March 20.

The event will be located at the Ruston High School track and field.

Volunteers will be needed at 8 a.m. to help set up the event, registration, and clean up at noon. Volunteers will also be needed throughout the day to help with each game.

Organizations that wish to help with Special Olympics will need to turn in a list of names. They can put that list in the Circle K box in the back of Tolliver Hall or e-mail Raymond Boudreaux, president of Tech’s Circle K chapter, at rjb028@latech.edu. The list of names needs to be turned in by Friday, March 13.

Volunteers are vital for this event to take place and run properly. Around 300 children from across the area will participate in track and field events. Any Tech faculty, staff, or student or area community member is welcomed to help.
