Nearly 1,500 Louisiana Tech students, faculty and staff will join together Saturday, April 4 to participate in the seventh annual Big Event.

The Big Event is a student-run service project where Tech students do community work to say “thank you” to the residents of Ruston. Students and faculty have participated in this annual event in past years to show their appreciation to the surrounding community by completing service projects such as yard work, window washing and painting for community
members.

Individuals or organizations can sign up by completing forms in Tolliver Hall by March 13. The forms are due at 5 p.m. in Tolliver Hall, Room 211.

Any student or faculty member may participate.

The Big Event will begin at 9 a.m. April 4 at Joe Aillet Stadium with a kickoff rally.
