Twenty-five Louisiana Tech nursing graduates were honored during the winter pinning ceremony on Feb. 27.

The award for academic excellence went to Nicole Aulds. Clinical awards were awarded to Drew Liles, of Haugton; Jennifer Milam, of Arkansas City, Kansas; and Shelby Taylor, of New Iberia. The Student Nursing Association and Ruston District Nurses Association award winners were Jessica Bond, of Quitman; and Cynthia Davidson, of Dubach.

The faculty award was given to Candace Clair Traylor, of Haynesville.

Marta Saterfiel, a 1981 Louisiana Tech graduate, was speaker for the event. Saterfiel currently serves as nurse recruiter and retention coordinator at Saint Francis Medical Center in Monroe.
