Mar 23, 2009 | General News

The Louisiana Tech Concert Association will host the last musical event of its 2008-2009 season on Thursday, April 2 with a production from the All-American Boys Chorus.

Though these nine to 14-year-old performers may be young, they are veterans of concert tours in North America, Europe and Asia. They will sing American favorites from the Beach Boys, Broadway classics, country/Western tunes, swinging songs from the Big Band era and Dixieland melodies.

The chorus will be joined by Tech’s own choirs as well, which will perform two numbers with the guest group.

The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Howard Auditorium, Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets to see the All-American Boys Chorus can be purchased through the box office, located in the lobby of Howard Auditorium. Admission is $15 for adults, $8 for senior citizens and $3 for Tech students with a Tech ID. Box office hours are Monday through Friday from 1:30-4:45 p.m. Reservations may also be made by calling (318) 257-3942.
