Tech spring concert planned for May 5

The Louisiana Tech Choirs will present a Spring Choral Concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, in Howard Auditorium, Center for the Performing Arts.

Music performed by the choirs will focus on music from Latin America. Tech assistant professor of music Dr. Cain Budds will be featured guitar soloist with the Chambers Singers in the piece “Romancero Gitano” by Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco.

Other works scheduled include “Brazilian Psalm” by Jean Berger, “Salmo 150” by Ernani Aguiar and selections from “West Side Story” by Leonard Bernstein.
