Tech nursing students pinned, honored at ceremony

Thirty-five Louisiana Tech nursing graduates were honored during the spring pinning ceremony held in Howard Auditorium.

Edwina Elrod, of Winnsboro, received the Outstanding Graduate Award. Regena Lynn Porter, of Quitman, and Tara Tyson Wallace, of Calhoun, received the Clinical Awards, and the Academic Excellence Award went to Chelsea Chapman, of Marion.

Erin Brasuell, of Ruston, received the Ruston District Nurses Association Award, and the Student Nurses Association Award was given to Sheena Conley Battles, of Monroe, and Elrod. Battles also received the Faculty Award.
