Louisiana Tech’s Technology Business Development Center is scheduled to host a meeting regarding the state’s Small and Emerging Business Development Program Wednesday, Aug. 5.

Participants will learn about this program, which can be used to help pay for professional services and business training needed to help growing firms become more competitive. The meeting will provide information about eligibility requirements for the SEBD Program, and participants will be given the opportunity to register for assistance.

SEBD funds can help pay for a variety of business services ranging from computerized accounting and engineering to Web site design and marketing. Business owners can also use the funds to improve their skills by taking business management classes.
