Louisiana Tech’s School of the Performing Arts will present the fifth annual Octubafest concert at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1.

The concert will be in the Recital Hall, located in the Howard Center for the Performing Arts on the campus of Louisiana Tech University.

The concert will be hosted by Dr. Joe L. Alexander, associate professor of music and head of music theory/composition and low brass. The concert will feature music from the Renaissance, Baroque, Romantic and 20th Century periods.

The event, full of trombones, euphoniums and tubas, is free and open to the public. For more information call (318) 257-2060.
