Tech to hold winter Choral Concert

Area residents have an opportunity to hear the Louisiana Tech choirs and wind ensemble perform in February as students and faculty present the winter Choral Concert.

The choirs and wind ensemble will perform Carmina Burana by Carl Orff. Jim Robken, director of bands, will conduct the choir and wind ensemble. Soloists will include Lisa Maxedon, soprano, an assistant professor of music at Tech, and Christopher Gilliam, baritone, an assistant professor of music at Northwestern State University.

The concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9 in Howard Auditorium, Center for the Performing Arts. Admission is free to the public.
