Feb 22, 2010 | General News

Marie Bukowski, an associate professor of art at Louisiana Tech, has been selected to exhibit in the Philagrafika 2010 exhibition in Philadelphia.

Philagrafika 2010 is the first presentation of what will become a recurring event in Philadelphia, celebrating the role of print in contemporary artistic practice.

Three hundred artists from around the world were selected to be part of this large-scale, cooperative exhibition, becoming the world’s most prominent print-related exposition. Philagrafika’s mission is to promote and sustain printmaking as a vital and valued art form by providing artistic, programmatic and administrative leadership for large-scale, cooperative initiatives with broad public exposure.

The exhibition, which began Feb. 2, runs through Feb. 28.
