Survey to evaluate undergraduate educational experience
Freshman and senior students will have the opportunity to express their opinions on various aspects of their educational experience at Louisiana Tech through an online survey being conducted by the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE).
The survey will look at all facets of academic and student life for undergraduates. Louisiana Tech plans to use this survey to improve the overall educational experience for its students, supplement state accountability and accreditation efforts, and support the mission and vision of its strategic plan.
Individual student responses will be kept confidential with all surveys going directly to the NSSE headquarters in Indiana. Tech will be provided with a list of students that have participated and an analysis of the totaled student responses.
Beginning April 6, emails from President Dan Reneau will be sent to freshman and seniors throughout the survey period to encourage them to take part in this important survey. As an incentive to participate, Tech will give $25 Chili’s Gift Cards to ten randomly-selected students who have completed the survey.
