Award-winning documentary to be shown at Tech

Louisiana Tech will present “Blue Gold: World Water Wars,” an award-winning documentary based on Maude Barlow’s book “Blue Gold,” on Wednesday, April 28.
The 2009 film, directed by Sam Bozzo, will be shown at 6:30 p.m. in Wyly Tower Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.
The film showing is part of Louisiana Tech’s Shaping the 21st Century: Stability and Sustainability in a Global Context series, which is a quarter-long event focusing on climate change, water sustainability and biodiversity.
The following event will be a film screening of Stephen Gaghan’s “Syriana” at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 5 in Wyly Tower Auditorium.
The Shaping the 21st Century series is sponsored by the College of Liberal Arts, the College of Applied and Natural Sciences, the College of Education, the College of Engineering and Science, the College of Business, the Office of Academic Affairs, the Student Government Association, the International Student Office, Tech Gospel Choir: Souls on Fire and the International Student Association.
