Percussion Ensemble heats May up with free concert

Louisiana Tech’s Percussion Ensemble will perform a variety of songs in a free concert scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 12.
The concert, which will take place in Howard Auditorium, Center for the Performing Arts, will feature “Strings Attached” by Australian composer Erik Griswold, “Five Dream Sequences” by Walter Ross, “Music for Pieces of Wood” by Pulitzer-prize winning composer Steve Reich and many others.
The ensemble is directed by Gregory Lyons, an assistant professor of music and director of percussion studies.  For more information, visit latechpercussion.com.
