TBDC offers workshop to assist new small businesses
Louisiana Tech’s Technology Business Development Center is offering business owners a chance to learn how to survive during their first two years as a new small company.
The “Listening to Your Business: Strategic Planning Workshop” will use the “Listening to Your Business” guide produced by FastTrac and the Kauffman Foundation to help small business owners look at the state of their business, evaluate their planning process, set a three-year vision and translate goals into action.
The workshop will span over four weeks with one session every Tuesday through the month of October from noon to 1 p.m. Participants will need to attend all four sessions.
Seats are limited, and interested business owners need to register with the TBDC by calling 318-257-3537 or by e-mail at tbdc@latech.edu. The cost is $20 for the first participant from a business and $15 for each additional registration from the same business.
The TBDC is located at 509 W. Alabama Ave., and desserts and drinks will be provided at the workshop.
