Holmes elected as vice president for regional association
A Louisiana Tech assistant professor in the College of Education was recently elected as vice president/president-elect of the Mid-South Educational Research Association.
Dr. Julie A. Holmes has been a member of MSERA since 1998 and conducted her first professional presentation at the 1998 annual meeting. She has served on many committees, as an at-large representative and was program chair for the 2010 meeting in Mobile, Ala.
MSERA is a nonprofit incorporated educational organization and strives to encourage quality educational research in the Mid-South and to promote the application of the results of quality educational research in the schools. Besides Louisiana, MSERA represents Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Mississippi and Tennessee.
