Music department hosts Cajun-themed fundraiser
Louisiana Tech’s department of music will host its third annual scholarship fundraiser, “Cajun Cabaret” from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, March 25.
Event highlights include a Mardi Gras-themed buffet featuring chicken and sausage jambalaya and shrimp Creole, performances by music faculty and students, a magic show by award-winning magician Tim Pardue, and a silent auction.
Tickets for this event must be purchased or reserved by Tuesday, March 22 and are $25 for adults and $15 for students or children. Call 318-257-2711 or e-mail Mary Roberts at mroberts@latech.edu to reserve your tickets. Tickets may also be obtained by visiting the School of Performing Arts office, located in Howard Auditorium, Room 204, or seeing Toni Troiano, band secretary, at the Band Office, located in the band building, Room 101.
