The next event in Louisiana Tech’s Shaping the 21st Century: Focus on the Middle East series will be a brownbag lunch and video starting at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, March 29 in the International Student Office, located in Tolliver Hall.
“FRONTLINE: Behind Taliban Lines” is a PBS film that documents a two-week journey of an Afghan video journalist who gained access and traveled to a region of Afghanistan now largely under control of the Taliban “shadow” government. The film addresses who’s fighting the U.S. efforts in the country and why. The film will be introduced by Bill Willoughby, associate dean of the College of Liberal Arts.
As with all of the series events, this is free and open to the public.
