Percussion Ensemble at Tech to perform
Louisiana Tech’s Percussion Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Gregory Lyons, an assistant professor of music, will present a spring concert at 7:30 p.m. Monday, May 2.
Pre-show music will feature the Ruston High School Brazilian Ensemble, under the direction of Walker Moss. The percussion ensemble’s performance will feature works by Swedish composer Tobias Brostrom, American composer John Gage and Tech’s own composition faculty member, Dr. Joe L. Alexander.
The event will take place in Howard Auditorium, Center for the Performing Arts, and is free and open to the public.
