Film screening to round out Shaping the 21st Century series
A film screening of the 2010 film, “The Oath,” will finish out this year’s Shaping the 21st Century: Focus on the Middle East series at Louisiana Tech.
Directed by Laura Poitras, this documentary follows the intertwined lives of a Yemini taxicab driver who was once Osama bin Laden’s bodyguard and his brother-in-law, who was bin Laden’s former driver and is on trial at the U.S. military base in Guantanamo, Cuba.
The film will be shown at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 11 in Wyly Tower Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.
