Tech to host free math fair
Louisiana Tech’s College of Education will host its fifth annual Summer Math Fair from 1:30-3:30 p.m. July 26-27 at the A.E. Phillips Multipurpose Room.
Students who have completed the first through third grades are encouraged to attend on July 26, and those who have completed fourth through sixth grades may attend July 27. Both days will be filled with hands-on math activities.
Additionally, Heather Bowling, educational consultant with Usborne Books & More, will be at the math fair with books and resources for purchase.
No pre-registration is required, and the event is free of charge. For more information, contact Dr. Julie Holmes, an assistant professor of education, at 318-257-4773 or at jholmes@latech.edu.
