Bukowski’s talents to be displayed in New York
Louisiana Tech School of Art Professor Marie Bukowski was selected to exhibit her printmaking work in the “Genius is Mysterious” September show in New York City.
Bukowski’s prints, from her “Sensing Terrains” series, will be on display, along with about 40 other artists’ works.
Bukowski’s “Sensing Terrains” prints were created during her fellowship with Tech’s Institute for Micromanufacturing, which took place last year.
“I wanted to find a way to take microscopic images and data and present them in a way that made them more universal, place them in landscapes so the viewers have to decipher the type of space surrounding them,” she said.
“Genius is Mysterious” will take place at NYC’s Projekt30 Gallery.
