Revival of Masterworks Chorus sparks December treat
The North Central Louisiana Masterworks Chorus and the Louisiana Tech choruses will present Handel’s “Messiah” beginning at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13 in Howard Auditorium.
Featured soloists for the event will feature Tech faculty member Dr. Lisa Maxedon, Dr. Susan Olson from the University of Texas at San Antonio, Dr. Christopher Gilliam from Northwestern State University, and Bray Wilkins, who has sung for Seattle Opera Company. Dr. Sean Teets, of Tech, will serve as conductor.
Tickets for the event are $10 for adults and $5 for students and are available at the door, at the School of Performing Arts office and the Tech band office.
