TBDC to host seminar regarding Rural Energy for America program
Louisiana Tech’s Technology Business Development Center will host a seminar to help small business owners and agriculture producers learn how to receive grants from the USDA.
As small businesses in rural areas and agriculture producers may be eligible for grants to help pay for equipment upgrades or energy efficient improvements, the Enterprise Center will discuss an overview of the USDA’s Rural Energy for America Program from 9-10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 17 in the Robert H. Rawle Enterprise Center, located at 509 W. Alabama Ave.
Business owners and managers, equipment suppliers and installers, lenders, farmers and those who support small businesses or agriculture businesses are welcome to attend. To register, contact Kathy Wyatt, director of the TBDC, at 318-257-3537 or Cooper Cochran, an associate professor of business, at 318-257-2835. Registration closes at 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16.
