TBDC to offer business overview workshop
Louisiana Tech’s Technology Business Development Center is gearing up for Leap Day by encouraging prospective business owners to learn before they leap into a new project.
A new venture overview will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 29. The overview will cover how to identify opportunities, decide on the best option, establish a budget, assess funding alternatives and begin preparing for startup. Participants will receive information relevant to starting up a new business, opportunities to ask questions, reference materials, business research assistance and continuing support.
The workshop will be held at the Enterprise Center, located at 509 W. Alabama Ave. Participation is free for those who register before Tuesday, Feb. 28, by emailing tbdc@latech.edu or calling 318-257-3537.
