Tech assistant professor of music performs in Europe

Dr. Sean Teets, director of choral activities and an assistant professor of music at Louisiana Tech, performed in a European choral tour this summer.
Teets joined with several other choirs throughout the United States to perform Lauridsen’s “Lux Aeterna” with orchestra.
Teets was tenor soloist in Mozart’s “Missa Solemnis” and was the assistant conductor at the Mozart International Choral Festival in Salzburg, Austria. He performed at the Salzburg Dom Cathedral in Salzburg, Stephansdom in Vienna, and St. Francis Church in Prague.
A member of the Louisiana Tech faculty since 2008, Teets teaches voice and directs the Chamber Singers, Concert Choir and North Central Louisiana Masterworks Chorus.
