Louisiana Tech closed Thursday due to Tropical Storm Isaac
— Normal operations, schedules to resume on Friday —
Louisiana Tech University will be closed on Thursday, August 30 due to the expected impacts from Tropical Storm Isaac.
Essential university personnel are required to report to work as normal on Thursday. Residence halls will also be open to students and food service will to continue to be provided.
Normal university operations and schedules will resume on Friday.
Official information and updates on campus conditions and operations and schedules will be posted on Louisiana Tech’s Emergency Response Team website (http://ert.latech.edu). Louisiana Tech’s administration will continue to monitor the path and potential impacts of Tropical Storm Isaac throughout this severe weather event.
Emergency/Urgent messages will also be communicated (via text and email) through the First Call Emergency Notification System.
