Capitol Steps to perform at Tech
In light of the upcoming presidential election, the Louisiana Tech Concert Association has invited the Capitol Steps to perform in Ruston. The concert will be held Tuesday, Oct. 9 7:30 p.m. in Howard Center for the Performing Arts.
The Capitol Steps is a group primarily of previous senate employees who their governmental roles to perform parodies about the institution that employed them and the faces they worked for and with.
The group has produced more than 30 albums since 1981 when it was created. Furthermore, they have made appearances on several TV networks, including NBC, CBS, ABC and PBS, as well as four concerts each year for National Public Radio Stations.
Tickets are $5 with a valid student I.D., $10 for adults and $6 for children. Tickets can be purchased at the Box Office.
