TOP DAWG Idea Pitch to showcase student entrepreneurs

Oct 17, 2012 | General News

Students from all majors at Louisiana Tech have entered their creative and innovative product or service ideas into the TOP DAWG Idea Pitch, which will take place November 5 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Student Center and is sponsored by Bulldog Entrepreneurs.
This year’s event features twenty-one teams that will each give five minute pitches about their ideas to see what professional judges think about their concepts. The student body can visit each team’s booth at any time during the event to vote for their favorite ideas with “Bulldog Bucks.”
Teams are ranked by score and will progress to prepare for the preliminary round of the TOP DAWG New Venture Championship in the spring, which will provide winners with a chance to win over $15,000 in prizes and move one step closer to making their ideas a reality.  Teams are mentored by business professionals and Bulldog Entrepreneurs sponsors helpful business planning seminars in the months before the New Venture Championship.
For more information about the TOP DAWG events, check the Bulldog Entrepreneurs Facebook Group Page or you can contact Debbie Inman in the College of Business room 218C or Dr. Stan Cronk in Bogard Hall room 233.
