Entergy Louisiana gives gift to support student activities at Tech

Entergy Louisiana, LLC has donated $5,000 to the College of Engineering and Science at Louisiana Tech University to support student activities within the College, including student travel to conferences and competitions and interaction with area industry leaders.
The check presentation was made to College of Engineering and Science Dean Stan Napper Tuesday by Entergy Louisiana representative Jim Pesnell.
“The College is very grateful for Entergy’s generous and continuous support because external funds clearly make the difference in our ability to develop leaders of the future,” said Napper.
Entergy’s Louisiana utility companies serve more than one million customers through the operating companies Entergy Louisiana, LLC and Entergy Gulf States Louisiana, L.L.C.

With operations in southern, central and northeastern Louisiana, the companies are part of Entergy Corporation’s electric system serving 2.7 million customers in Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi and Texas. Entergy regularly recruits electrical engineering and other engineering majors from Louisiana Tech.
