Technology Business Development Center coordinates training event
Any organization looking to perform research and obtain funding from federal agencies has a chance to get a leg up on the competition, thanks to Louisiana Tech’s Technology Business Development Center.
The TBDC is hosting a workshop for individuals and agencies interested in Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer awards. The event is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 12 at the Louisiana Tech University Shreveport Center,8028 Shreve Park Drive, Shreveport.
Jim Greenwood, a nationally recognized SBIR/STTR consultant, will provide the training. The first 35 paid attendees will be eligible for a free SBIR/STTR proposal review by Greenwood Consulting for up to one year from the workshop date, subject to availability. Seating is limited, and advance registration is required. The registration fee also includes a workbook and lunch.
Registration before Aug. 31 is $25. Registration between Sept. 1-11 will be $35, and on-site registration is $50. To register, email tbdc@latech.edu, call 318-257-3537, or go online to https://fast-shreveport-sbir-sttr-sep12-2013.eventbrite.com/.
