Residents have opportunity to pitch business idea
North Louisiana residents have an opportunity to participate in a free business pitch competition Tuesday, Oct. 29.
Hosted by Louisiana Tech’s Technology Business Development Center, entrepreneurs will have an opportunity to present their pitch and receive feedback for their ideas.
Each presenter will be given 60 seconds to present a pitch to judges and audience members, and presenters will be awarded prizes based on judges’ choices and audience votes.
Participants are encouraged to register in advance, as only 30 slots are open. Anyone who registers before Tuesday, Oct. 15 will be allowed to attend a pitch presentation training session. Additional registrants will also be accepted to pitch in place of potential no-show presenters.
The event will begin at 7 p.m. in University Hall on Louisiana Tech’s campus.
For more information contact Ann Marie Queen, project coordinator, at 318-574-5421 or aqueen@latech.edu.
