The College of Engineering and Science at Louisiana Tech University presents, “Truth Values” at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Stone Theatre in the Howard Center for the Performing Arts on the Louisiana Tech campus.

The play presents a true-life account of one woman’s experience as a math major at M.I.T. Writer and performer Gioia De Cari offers a humorous, scathing, insightful and uplifting look at the challenges a professional woman faces in a male-dominated field like math, engineering or the sciences.

During the performance, Di Cari brings to life more than thirty characters in a funny, but touching performance that has won awards and rave reviews. A discussion forum will take place following the play.

Admission is free and open to the public.  For more information, contact Dr.  Jenna Carpenter, associate dean for undergraduate studies in the College of Engineering and Science, at 257-2842.
