Louisiana Tech University’s School of the Performing Arts is pleased to announce the cast of Michele L. Vacca’s beloved children’s show, “Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp,” directed by Mr. Paul B. Crook.

When Aladdin finds a magic lamp, he summons a genie who grants him great wealth and the love of Sultan’s daughter.  What happens when Magrabi, a magician, threatens Aladdin’s new life of luxury?  Will Aladdin be able to save himself and Sultan’s daughter?

The cast of this mysterious tale includes Thomas B. Comb as Aladdin, Hannah Miglicco as Princess Badroulboudour, Trey Clark as Sultan Bahman al Baharat of Baghdad, Orlando Shelly as The Maghrabi of the Inner Sunset Land, Meihan Guo as The Genie, Rashae Boyd as Scheherezade, Adam Garcia as Punjab, Jamie Robinson as Esmerelda, Carolyn Smith as Zarita, Ashley Davis as Dinazad, Courtney Van Eaton as Marizaydah, Madison Glicrease as Morgiana, Emily Lancon as Marjanah, Hannah Johnson as Zummurud, Tierra Jones as Shirin, and Alma Moegle as Yunah.

Street vendors include Aaron Anthon, Sang Hguyen, Randi Domingue, Victoria Sharplin, Reba Emory and Stacey Morse. Street Urchins include Chloe Alexander, RJ Brown, Grisham Locke, Christopher Moore, Collins Walker, J. Kaedan Bean, Bryant Ford Crook, Rileigh McCullouch, Rosie Shultz, Courtney Wilson, Gwendolyn Beasley, Mark Emory, Riley Moegle and Ella Viator. Palace Guards include Scott Cater, Raifford Heileman, Charles Pickett, Leigh Cox, L’Broderick McDonald, Jakob Grifin and Julia Morse, with Rowan Johnson as Guard Captain.

Palace servants include Emma Alexander, Anna Ruth Allen, Tatum Brasher, Kenley Brasher, Bailor Brown, Baylee Brown, Rachel Walters, CeCe Crook, Josephine Hyacinth, Johnissia McDonald, Landry Nelson, Caroline Perritt, Kalista Roberson, and Violet Waddle.

Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp will be performed in Howard Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. on January 31 and February 1, and at 2:00 p.m. on February 2.  Following the matinee performance on February 2, special guests who have purchased the Adventures with Aladdin package will be invited to an adventure with Aladdin and his friends.  The experience will include a meet-and-greet with the cast, a photo opportunity on the set with the characters, and a souvenir craft of your own design.
